Description
He had tried to stay away for as long as he could, prioritizing his warnings to the princesses over... this. Tartarus was cold, treacherous, inescapable- the perfect prison. There was no joy or relief found in this place, making Scorpan feel all the worse. It had been years, and yet he was still unprepared. Perching behind a rock, Scorpan sneaked a glance at his imprisoned brother, weak and frail, diminished into a husk of his former grandeur and power. So this is what had become of Tirek, his beloved brother- all because of him. Unable to stare any longer, Scorpan turned away, the guilt he had lived with for so long crashing into him with full force. He couldn't bear a confrontation, especially after all that had happened between them. Without taking another glance, Scorpan walked away, ashamed at his cowardice, his heart heavy with past wounds.

After he returned to Equestria to warn the princesses of dangerous occurrences in the outside world, Scorpan was hesitant to see what had become of his brother, though he was never able to confront Tirek in person. He was pained to see his brother's punishment, feeling personally responsible, even though he knew it was for the best. The relationship between Scorpan and Tirek is incredibly difficult, and I hope I'll get to exploring it further for you all soon. In the meantime, enjoy some Scorpangst (thanks to for that, hehe)!
