Felt like drawing something dramatic.
Scorpan's status as an exiled prince to his own kingdom, Tambelon, weighs heavy on his mind most of the time. He misses his homeland dearly, and would do anything to return, but justice has yet been kind to him. Scorpan was banished from Tambelon after he returned without Tirek, the crown prince and kingdom favorite, those hundreds of years ago when he and his brother first visited Equestria. He was convicted of treason, as many believed he had gotten rid of Tirek to assume the throne for himself, as he was second-in-line to the crown. His mother tried to protect him as much as she could, but was forced to let him go amid the anger of the people, and her husband, the king. Because he was not Scorpan's biological father, the king, while he had always looked kindly upon his step-son since his marriage with the queen, had no choice but to banish him, blinded by anger and grief at the loss of his heir, Tirek. Scorpan left his homeland in shame, and has since then traveled the globe, until he once again returned to Equestria, bringing troubling news of the realm beyond it's borders.
This isn't the most polished piece, but I felt the need to post something, since you've all been very patient. Enjoy, guys!

But seriously, I love the story you've constructed for him! It makes perfect since that he'd face a lot of trouble when he returned without his brother. Poor guy first had to deal with his brother not learning to empathize and having to help defeat him for the overall good, and now he gets banished for being a decent person. I just want to hug the guy. D:

This bit is really amazing! And oh my... o.o that's true, in the show he did betray Tirek so when he came back without him... They couldn't have thinked otherwise. That's so sad for fluffy boi Scorpan... :c
Nonetheless, who knows if he can find a home within equestria? That would be interesting, despite the ponies being very xenophobic sometimes. The piece is so beautiful and I love the hair the most, it's very pretty and well detailed! His expression is so tired... I wanna hug this bab.

Scorpan's past is full of strife, but don't worry, once he comes back to Equestria and meets Twilight, he finds himself a new home after so many years of travelling.It was a little hard to adjust, but ponies got used to him eventually, and he genuinely liked living there, so all's good.
