I just realized the other day that my gallery is a bit overcrowded by theropods. ThatΒ΄s not right, and since I believe in archosaur equality I started drawing something different. Expect more non theropod thingies pretty soon.So, well, hereΒ΄s everyones favourite lambeosaurine (or at least, mine).

Looks good! I like the markings and scale detail.

Oh, thank you. The upper leg may look a bit too beefy because its "embebbed" in the body and covered by thick muscle and skin following the example of birds and big tetrapods like elephants. Those animals had generally huge caudofemoral muscles that help them to overrun their slowest predators (or kick them to oblivion).

In case of theropod overcrowding and need of archosaurian equality, the answer is clear: Go Rauisuchians!
Gotta love how this Para looks able to beat up any Albertosaur foolish enough to attack it head on. Hadrosaur means "robust lizard", after all...

ThatΒ΄s funny, I have a raisuchian WIP somewhere...- but theyΒ΄re -conceptually- sort of quadrupedal theropods anyway. Hervibore ornitischians need more love.
And yes, duckbills might is vastly overrated. Need more depictions of those stomping theropods, in fact, you gave me an idea for a future drawing...

I have to disagree; it is theropods the ones that look like bipedal rauisuchians.
But yeah, ornitischians are awesome as well. Robust Hadrosaurs and boar-like ceratopsians are far better that Tyrannosaurus snacks.

Also, why no colorful webbing between the crest and neck? I think itβs a likely organic decoration.

The famous crest skin flap is probably a bit unlikely [link] though I used to like this kind of restorations. At first glance it may seem reasonable that such elongated structure supported something else (thatΒ΄s the case of Nyctosaurus as well), but such webbing would probably limitate the head rotation too much. Ah, dunno. I prefer to play safe.
