The main character from The Darkness series of comic books (and two videogames) by Top Cow comics.Β
The guy in the center of this picture is pretty much a dead ringer for him. Even his clothing is more or less the same style that he wears. More or less, given the obvious time period difference.Β
I would actually highly recommend them, both the comics and the games are really, REALLY good.Β

You want something really fun play the games.Β
The first game for made by the team that made the Chronicles of Riddick games, which I've never played but I hear nothing but good things about. But yeah the Darkness game is a little heavy on story, but stands out enough to be one of my at least, top three favorite videogames of all time.Β
The second one was made by a different company and adopted a very different style. It's less story focused but... the best way I can think of to describe it is like a first person Devil May Cry. The action is super fast paced, there are all kinds of ways to take your enemies apart, and its one of the few games I can think of where you are able to literally tear your enemies in half to regain health.Β
But yeah very different styles, but both fun.Β
If you are going to read the comics though I should warn you, the earliest Darkness comics were written in the mid 90's. I don't know if you are familiar with 90's comic tropes but there are plenty of them in the early comics. Lots of posing, guys with big muscles, and women who look and dress sexier than they should, you know how it is. This got better and became less tropey as the comic went on, but yeah, a 90's comic is still a 90's comic.Β
It's actually written by Mark Silvestri, the man who's biggest contribution to the comic book world is Witchblade. I don't know if you are familiar with that, but if you are, then you have a pretty good idea of what you are in for.Β
Enjoy em though man. I'm not even a fan of 90's comics and I still like them. So I hope that says something.Β
