Description
Today I decided to test my skill with a tablet by going over some XI drawings I have from my favorite doujin. from the game (Materialize). These two characters are -very- simliar to my own character when I played the game, and my friends one (she still plays...-.-). Anyway, it was practice with my tablet so... All I did was go over the images using layers and different colors, I think they look cool...Anyone mind telling me if tracing over drawings like this will improve my drawing skill? I assume it would...but ive also come to think tracing is a sign of weakness...anyway

*PS - The little dude in the corner, I think its supposed to be me, I drew him before I drew anything else...so...

I really like this from a structural standpoint, the way you've created a figure from shapes and then added detail, the different colors really helps to notice the stages of the drawing.

I thought doing specific parts in different colors would bring a different feel to them. Blue wireframe, red outerframe, green detail and inner structure, and a purple base for facial shape and details.
