Description
This was one of the coolest shots in the Berserk Manga and I wanted to try and make a backround for my computer with it... i think that it came out pretty well...UPDATE: 8-1-07
I finally got around to finalizing this picture. It was the first I'd Made and as such my roughest composition. I wanted to update colors as well as shading. I've come a long way since I first submitted this, hope it shows! If you're a fan of Berserk, please check out my other submissions!

If you watched the episode then you already know, they captured really well.
People give allot to Berserk 2016, but one of the best things about the series is that it can capture iconic and recognizable screenshots from the Manga perfectly.

You have captured what could arguably be the greatest tragedy in the series Gut's love Casca is so close but still distant, a pale and unremembering reflection of who she was.
This sense of isolation is compounded when Gut's Inner Beast urges him to kill her so it can thrive in the ensuing darkness.ย

For the first time reading it, you realize you're in for some badassery when the main character is called Guts.ย

Just have one tiny input; in the orginal manga, Guts is very clearly looking back at Casca, here he looks ahead/away. Is that intentional? A small detail, though i think it kinda puts a different wibe to the whole picture, like in the original he just sorta glances back at casca to just see if she is ok after his whole whirlwind entrance, here he seems more focused on the enemy ahead or such.

i dont think there would ever be a series in any category or media thats better than berserk. i think its the most bad ass force out there, no matter how successful or unsuccessful it is. every main character plays a solid role, and i never question any of em. guts raises the bar for every main character who plays a bad ass role. griffith...well, i hate the guy but i enjoy his role, because it fits perfect into the story. to me, hes the joker and guts is batman. and by the way, u did a hell of a job with coloring/editing that picture, especially with the cape. u cant be bad ass without a cape (unless ur solid snake or super mario).

It works great. I also love that scene (Volume 19 right?). Anyway, I think the scene fits good with the line because Gutts says that before the Eclipse and this is the first time he has seen Casca after he thought she was lost forever......as you can tell I'm a Berserk fan. Wow four years ago.
