I did some researching and came up with Royal's pedigree for all those curious people: [link] He's, for the most part, Polish bred with a few Russian and Crabbet influences. (However, keep mind that the Crabbet stud used European bred horses from a variety of nations. For example, Serafina, a mare on the bottom side of Royal's pedigree, is an English bred mare, whereas other horses used in the Crabbet breeding program originated in Poland, Russia, and a number of other nations. Because of the relative freedom of trade of Arabians in Europe in the late 1800s and early 20th century, actual bloodline percentages take a bit of study to ascertain.)
