first off, yeah, i suck at titles.
second off all, NO PHOTOSHOP USED, this is just the picture, without any photoshopped stuff xD

i really love the lightning here. it was only SOOOOOOOO **** COLD! D:

how the costume was made:

well, it's 100% handmade, except for the wig and sleeves. the wig was bought and styled by me. xD
the sleeves are also bought, and a little re-made by me xD
the dress is made off the pattern of my mothers wedding dress, and that "flapoverthing" is made of a pattern i made myself. the "blue stripes" at the bottom part of the dress, is just blue ribbon. he sleeve is also a handmade pattern. also, all the props for this dress are also 100% handmade.

we (my mother and i) have used:

-8 meters of blue ribbon. (bottom part dress)
-1 and a half meters of red ribbon. (for that flapoverthing)
-i thought that we had 4 to 6 meters of that light-pink fabric. (for the "skirtpart" of the dress and a bit for the back of the top)
-and 2 meters of that dark pink/purple fabric. for the top)
-1 meter of blue fabric(for that flapoverthing)
-and a lot of white and red felt.( for the decoration on that flapoverthing)
also, i've made a new prop! (it's a new armor piece) it's made out of clay and polystyrene foam. it's so darn light... AND THE WHOLE COSTUME IS SOOOO COMFORTABLE. and i'm not kidding! just buy a pattern, with instuctions, and have fun making your dress!
it was a lot of fun to make. but it took us, my mother and i, about 5 or 6 months to finish it... D:

and yes, my mother helped me with it. THANK YOU MOMMY! I LOVE YOU SOOO MUCH!

i worn this costume on sunday, with the EFF at Haarzuilens- Utrecht (in 2012). it was really nice there, really, really nice! there are no words for it. IT'S TO NICE!
