Description The Steller's Sea Eagle, Haliaeetus pelagicus,is a large bird of prey in the family Accipitridae. It lives in coastal northeastern Asia and mainly preys on fish. It is, on average, the heaviest eagle in the world, at about 4.9 to 9 kilograms (11 to 20 lb; 0.77 to 1.4 st), but often lags behind the Harpy Eagle, Philippine Eagle and Martial Eagle in other measurements. This bird is named after the German naturalist Georg Wilhelm Steller, and two subspecies have been named.

I absolutely enchanted by the eyes!! Just that little brow-like dip creates such enormous expression... I cannot say how much I love this picture.

Well thank you for the lovely picture!!

I don't normally go for pictures like that, but that face.... I just had to fave it because for me that seals the proof that all animals have souls and emotions, etc...
That evidence is priceless.
