Just had to say, the first thing that came to mind when I saw this was religious art involving saints. Then I saw the NSFW version, and it totally changed. Now it inspires an entirely different part of the imagination! Β

I like that you have kept two separate versions of this particular piece. While some might really like the NSFW version because it very clearly shows what has happened, I like the mystery that is left open by this version. Many of my favourite art pieces lead to fanfiction or inspire me to ask the "what if" or "what happens next" questions. I like the not knowing, the anticipation. Between the facial expression, the lighting, and the submissive pose, this very much begs me to continue the scene, to ask where it is going, and that is what, I think, drew me to this piece.

How did you do the chain so well? I love it!

I just drew a silhouette of one link of the chain and made it into a custom PS brush, brush on with pressure sensitivity and direction setting. Finally then just drew on the highlights/shadow where appropriate to make the chain look more 3D. It's doesn't take long, maybe 15 mins.
