Another request from a member at my board for my Samurai series, Kambei from "Samurai 7", I have not seen this series yet but it does look interesting! I really like to know a bit about a character before I draw them so I can capture their essence but this series is hard to find, oh well.Related content

I like and respect Kambei-sensei, but... he's awefully mean sometimes and towards the end of the series he annoyned me for some reason I can't put my finger on. He is the best and a great Sensei, but I kinda prefer Katasushiro-sama as a main character.
You did really good on his uniform. It looks like it would be hard. And his sword was the best. I only wish my own katana was as fine as his. ^^

I really love this artwork, the coloring, dimentions, and expression are really similar to the character, the level of detail is also good. I have watched the series and I am very impressed, it looks really schweet.

nice, its well done anyway. and yes the series is unfortunatly hard to find. i have only been able to find it in a rental store, and they dont have the last disc!!! and the last disc that they have ends in a good cliff hanger!!! arrrgggg! good job anyway

he is my favourite samurai along with kyuuzou X3
i really love how u colored him .. hes outfit is really tough to do but u did it pretty well
i like how u changed his grey hair into somewhat dark brown ^^ ..

I'm not familiar with the character, or the series, but you've done a really good job here with some excellent detail. His jaw line doesn't look quite symmetrical though....the left side (as we're looking at him) is higher than the right. You did a great job with his hands... and, as ridiculous as this may sound, I like how you cast his shadow! Those blended colors are wonderful!
