I always love thinking about these two in this manner. I was playing Warriors Orochi 3 and then suddenly Nezha is like "Yo ima kill you cause I cant float around you! *kills Diao Chan for no reason*" : < Those two weren't even doing anything wrong...
Anyway great work on this picture. It's nice to see them off the battlefield and at peace.

I think this is adorable. And in character, surprisingly. He obviously loves her. In fact, they were the only couple that didn't either totally piss me off or get on my nerves. Well ok, Yue Ying and Zhuge Liang were pretty badass, but the others were so irritating.
But this is cute. And well done. So niiiiiiiiiiice.

Hehe... I love the Dynasty Warriors/Samurai Warriors series, and I've always been a fan of Lu Bu & Diao Chan as a couple... even if the actual story was pretty different in real history; I like Koei's version of it, better. lol

I have always thought that Lu BU was a bit of a joke really. I mean think about it. He was supposed to be the greatest warrior in all o' china. But When you see him you think like 6' 4" 17 stone big ol' haliberd. Really he was chinese right. That's like 5' 4" back in those days. Funny.
Artwork is something pretty special though. If you're a big fan of DW try reading a very good series called ROMANCE OF THE THREE KINGDOMS it is the historical context to the game. Very very good...

Dude, bloody gud. well done. i daresay you've captured the emotion of Diao Chan in this piece. i forget which DW it was in but i believe she once stated "I dont think anyone can see past the war shell of Lu, but inside he is more sensitive then he can allow". Great work.
