cool pic.'s how do you get it that dark , and yet you can still see the different things where it's not just a black blob?

I guess by carefully shading, so you always get bright lines around an element where the light is supposed to hit, and if needed, use an eraser to accentuate this effect. But nobody directly taught me this, I think this is why it is hard for me to explain how I developed my drawing technique. ^^

Wow that's a good eye for detail in animals. I have a question, would you ever do this in colored pencils other than black and white? Just wondering.

Glad you like it. I'm probably not going to draw a colored version with colored pencils, hehe... But I'm teaching myself how to draw digital artworks at the moment. Colored drawings would probably result from that, once my skills are good enough to upload them.

Yes, I'm fairly open to most forms or styles of art. Fair enough, at least you're honest with yourself and others. I can't draw digital much. I prefer to do photo manipulations, but that's just me. True, but it's what works for you, not what we your supporters and fellow artists always want the art to be like.
