Description TyrantisTerror Prompts: Aitvaras and Puuk

These two are bound to be familiar for anyone who's been around here long. While they are both considered dragons, they don't really act like them, nor are they related to them. Both of them are household spirits, similar to the German kobold and drak. Their names respectively mean "kite" in their mother languages, as in the toy, possibly in reference to their appearance in the air. Or the word for kite is derived from the names of the creatures, as the "pukis" is clearly from the same basis as Puck and the puca of Britain, all alluding to a trickster figure with supernatural origins. As a household spirit, the dragons steal the wealth of their owner's neighbors, be it material wealth or their intangible sense of luck and prosperity. So long as their owner gives them a safe home and a steady supply of food, the creatures will stick with them, sometimes belonging to the same families for decades at a time. The two are very close relatives, the only difference being the Lithuanian aitvaras' proficiency with disguising itself. At all times the aitvaras lives in the house, looking like a black rooster with a yellow or orange tail, like a meteorite. If it's seen outside the house, the viewer will see it for what it truly is: a dragon-like spirit with a flaming tail. Aitvaras also tend to be meaner than their cousins, bringing bad luck to those who wish it gone and sticking in people's homes regardless of whether or not they want it there. Procuring them is difficult, as they appear to not lay eggs or bear offspring. Only wizards, demons, and other powerful beings skilled in the unseen arts can manage to find their eggs, whereupon they sell them to greedy farmers.
