Uru and Scar dont get along very well, and whenever she talks to him its always something idiotic or just yelling.Βin my theory Scar is not the son of Uru and Ahadi, he was taken in after a big war between Pridelands and another pride. Ahadi has no problem with him as he himself was a rough before he became the Queens mate, but Uru never bonded with him nor saw him as her son. Yes she fed him and did all a mother would do, but she did it out of duty not out of love.Β

This is awesome! You are very talented. After thinking about it a bit, and seeing this picture... it would seem like the inspiration for Mufasa and Taka could be seen as Thor and Loki... That's how I see it at least. ^^

Interesting theory but according to snowlands.ru/en/home.htm (which has official Disney "after TLK stories on it) Taka was Uru's favorite and she didn't relate too well with Mufasa.Β Taka was the more studious of the two while Mufasa was, in all senses, the "jock" and Ahadi's favorite son.Β Taka was a total mamma's boy (in a good way) and Mufasa was daddy's favorite. Nice picture/story though.

Disney released several stories about the cubs' childhood, which are on that site and in hardcover (although I think they are no longer in production and can only be bought online/in used book stores. I'm lucky to have a set from when it first came out.) so not all of them are fan fictions, and based on the books, "The Lion King: Six New Adventures", What I stated in my comment before is true and official from Disney.Β Still an interesting theory though and I always like looking at your art.

Taka looks majestic here and your theory does make sense on why he's not that close to the pride (and why the pride isn't close to him), why he had no problem killing his "brother" and his over all attitude. Kind of tragic but that's the way the cookie crumbles.

a similar situation with my Uru and Scar. How Uru never really liked Scar that much even though she was his mother. Ahadi adored Scar and Mufasa the same, but Uru also loved Mufasa more XD
