This one is for I promised her a night skinned version of my Oberon character.Oberon features in her Gods Touched fanfic along with a whole host of other gods and goddesses from ancient myths and legends and Sephiroth

Thanks! I actually found lighting him the hardest part and I kept thinking 'How the heck does Mavrosh get her guys so well lit?!'. If I got the light right in one area, it was out in another. Made me appreciate your work all the more

Lights... yes.... this is always something with black skin... hahaha... I am lucky that my white hair is painted because imagine getting that done... white hair and black skin...

Ha! 'Fraid I can't paint hair so I did use a hair prop. I had to brighten up his face in post work as well.

Although I have to admit, that I postworked this a lot to get the effect I wanted.

I use Daz3d and the Reality 1.2 plug-in which allows me to render using LUX. Aside from the 'realism' aspect I find the lighting a whole lot easier to understand because you don't have to 'fake' it with loads of shaders. I've never understood the uber environment stuff

I've heard of this LUX thing... I think I'll have to look into it because lighting is a serious *BEEP* for me. I think I may force myself to really try DAZ as well, I think it may be better than Poser. Anyway, thanks.

You're welcome. Never used Poser so couldn't say whether is better or not. I have found the new Daz 4 a bit confusing though so am sticking with v3 at the moment. Also Reality doesn't work with v4 yet.
