Heh, yer welcome. I'm really rather pleased with how that purple lighting came out, too. It was a lot easier doing it all on a separate layer and using blur filters then trying to blend it into the existing block coloring. I'll probably use this technique for the comic and stuff, and stick with the harder method for splash art and the like.
Hmm... maybe I should seek a job in comic-bookery-coloring, eh?
....no, actually, I'm pretty sure that would be a lousy job. Most colorists don't even get credit, or if they do, it's hardly legible and at the very bottom of the page.

The Sonic the Hedgehog comic colorists are always given credit. John Jensen is a comic genius. He always gets his name on the cover too. I think he's been with them from at least volume 40 to now. He's improved alot too. There up to 180+ including some spin offs.
I think you could do it if you really wanted too. You are that good. My brother looked over and he thinks so too. So two against one! We win and you rock!

Fiddily posh!
If I were a comic book colorist, I'd probably go into DC, Marvel, or Darkhorse comics, since I worship the ground those guys walk on. And they give little credit to their colorists.
Then again, if you look closely enough at the texture on Poison Ivy's costume in Batman HUSH, you can see he used a photoshop 'maple leaf' brush, so that makes me want his name on the cover a lot less.
And yes, I said fiddly posh. I stole it from Pinky. NARF!
