Whoa, thumbnail looked like a photo. But this is way cooler.

I'd kill for a jacket like that, purely awesome. With the glasses, it's almost a steampunk effect. Awesome gear!

And of course, I love Nautolans, and you'd done those details very nicely.

Wow, really good job on the skin textures and the coat. His goggles and that shirt give him a very slight steampunk look with the rest of his ensemble, and he just looks even cooler like that.

What do you use in photoshop though? Just the brush with different opacity's or the dodge and burn tools or what? Thats mainly what I am having trouble with, I'm not sure what to use or what brush to use as I am kind of new to photoshop.

I use brush soft round,
dodge and burn tools only at last stage, when flatten layers.

dodge tool very good to paint shiny highlight spots, like on glas or metal...

Layers 1 for shadows, 1 for light everything in balance
