Description
I don't suppose these little bits of ice and snow can be considered permanent glaciers, but this is the middle of August, the warmest time of the year, and the hills are just about as verdant as they will get before winter comes back in just a few short weeks. If you look real hard you can see a few areas where the sun is trying to break through the thick layer of clouds that is as least high enough that we will get to see all the way to the top of the glaciers later today (but we don't know that yet). Right now, all we can do is marvel at the intensity of green where some sun breaks actually do reach the trees.

I used some EDRi processing to enhance the detail especially in the sky, but the green really was that green, which was quite amazing on such a dull day.
