Description I am going to post a few of the images Scott took on Friday Night, since my camera was broken and I couldn't borrow his to get that one really great shot of a lifetime.

This is from Kerry Park on Queen Anne Hill.

I sure don't mind helping you get started on these things, Edie. It isn't that easy in the beginning and we all have to start there.

Let me know how you do and if there is anything else you need. OK...

Sometimes life gets in the way of things we really like to do. You know, jobs, kids & mortgage payments?

You got that! Plus the whole bit with looking down the mouth of a fire breathing dragon makes you look at the world in an entirely different way. A lot of stuff that seemed so important at one time, just doesn't matter so much anymore. You know?

Im not that into fixing my pics, so i have nothing fancy.Ireally appreciate you trying to teach me but TRUST me it will take a while. Is there a special word i can use to google in for a tuturiol ?..Im still trying to figure out how to start the journal and PROCRASTINATOR is my middle name. I have waited much to long for any of this but i want to acknowledge every bodies beautiful work out there.

As far as I know Photoshop Elements is like a trimmed down version of Photoshop. It has some of the same functionality, but unfortunately I do not know anything about what that is. I do know that there are a lot of people on dA who use it, so you should be able to find some people to discuss it with or some tutorials by doing a search for art (in the dA art search at the top of the page) using the words "Photoshop Elements". Or just click here [link] If you can find some art made with or tutorials about you might check with some of the people who submitted those to get you pointed in the right direction.

Start your journal with some thumbs of images that you like using the thumb code on the deviation page right under Details, Views & Downloads to the right of the artist description. For this image it is :thumb82798727: If you just put a bunch of them together in your journal you will have a feature.

I will give you a feature to try. You can just copy and paste it into your journal. No need to worry about fancy css for now.

Do this: First click on update journal on the right side of your page towards the top:

Copy and paste everything between the two rows of *** and paste it all right into the big white box under "Journal Entry" on the left side of the page.

Then give it a title and click "Add" toward the bottom of the page.

Instant Journal for Edie, borrowed from the journal I did last month about spring flowers. [link] It's beautiful, colorful and will dress up your front page.
