20x15in watercolors and ink

Voted as my best watercolor piece in class this semester. It took several days to complete. It started out as an experiment that I didn't think would work out. It was inspired by digital art by jimbotron [link] and the reference pic of former Hello Project singer Maki Goto. Again I was trying to "translate" digital into traditional. I wanted to make the figure "glow" through the blackness which I had succeeded although the scan does not do it justice. The majority of the painting was sprayed and splattered as oppose to using a brush. The whites are all masking fluid.

As for the title, I couldn't think of anything so the painting looked spacey to me so "Galaxy" came to mind, and "510" is from Maki Goto's name (something to do with her last name, I forgot).
