spray paint on 11x14 canvas panelI've been experimenting with my spray paint techniques so I'm using smaller pieces to work on. It's still a learning process for me and this piece shows it. It's of the current lineup of Morning Musume, a pic from their 33rd single "Kanashimi Twilight". The process of it is on my LJ [link] For some idiotic reason I chose to use pink latex spray paint rather than the other pink spray paint I always used. As a result, the paint started to peel off when I took off the stencil and I could not save it because my stencils are not permanent (they're on regular paper). However, the peeled paint gave the painting a rugged look which worked out in the end. So some mistakes can actually make things look good.

I know, that would be so cool! I think I still have the original image since the stencil was made from a vector-ish image.
