Yeah...
I love this costume. The kimono, the wig, everything!
The kimono was a gift for my graduation from my parents (thank you mum and dad!), bought from Ichiroya.com as a karinui, a temporarily stiched kimono. I had to line it myself and sew it on the sewing machine, which was quite a job to do, but a lot of fun as well . The sleeves were too long for me, so I had to cut about 15 cm of it, or it would reach the ground T_T
The obi is also bought from ichiroya, but it was finished already. For all of the accesoires needed for it to be wearable I used the things I had bought for my Meiko cosplay, but I bought new geta shoes, one I could actually walk on
The wig is completely designed and styled by myself. I bought it from ebay and it was just a black long wig with bangs and red and purple streaks in it (in a very suble way). It kind of was a pain to make it, but I am so happy about the way it turned out! I will upload some more pictures of it later.

I wore it to Castlefest this year, on sunday, and it rained the entire afternoon T_T Luckily the rice-papered umbrella could hold the rain away
It was lots of fun to wear it, especially on our way to the fair by train. Yeah, we made quite a few heads turn
