Somewhere in dark space for the last two games the Reaper councilor has been tentacle-quoting and saying "Ah yes, Shepard. The immortal human soldier who will supposedly be the doom of our entire race. Oh we have dismissed THAT claim!"

After playing ME2 again I get the feeling the Turian Councilor will respond with "Ah yes, 'Earth'. We have dismissed that claim."

I would make a truce with the Reapers. Humanity attacks head-on, draw their attention (since we're going to die anyway), while the Reapers head to Ilos and STAB THEM IN THE BACK.

If they don't open their eyes, I'm gonna create a new character and let them burn in the skies above the Citadel. and if they dare saying anything like "the humans was well aware of the risk by annoying the Reapers" and tell us to deal with it ourselves... ooooooh, I can just imagine the anger in Shepard's eyes.
But I think we stand a fair chance against these guys. I mean, lets look at some events from the game, if you chose the right answers. You saved humanity, so you already got their fleets. You saved the Council which already has a huge fleet and especially if you bring along the whole Turian fleet. You saved the Rachni, which I'm sure has some kind of fleet. You helped the Krogan and Wrex is your buddy so he'll send his fleet. You helped the Quarians and they have a big fleet. You helped Legion and if you rewrote the virus, the "Nice-Geth" have now an insanely huge fleet... I think the Reapers have one hell of a fight coming towards them. With the Normandy up front.
