This has been a long time coming...The two main characters Carter and Sadie of Rick Riordan's (author of the Percy Jackson series) next big book series.
The Kane Chronicles: The Red Pyramid. (If you haven't read it already, get to it.)
Same basic style. Different mythology. One great read.
(I hope they decide to make this into a TV show or something instead of a movie. I think it'd be much cooler that way
