Description Though she won't be featured much on here due to her only role being in the main written trilogy of WfC, I still felt I had to make an official reference for my main character, Queen Azra of Kenthstrom.

But, although she never appears in the Clans comic, she will be briefly mentioned in the epilogue. She is still the most important character I have in the literature.

I love breaking the good princess-evil queen stereotype that I find all too often in fairy tales and children's cartoons. Prettymuch anywhere there's a medieval fairytale theme, there at least has to be an evil queen involved somewhere. I, for one, think it gives queen characters in general a bad rap.

Some examples: The wicked queen from Snow White and the Seven Dwarves/ Queen Revenna from Snow White and the Huntsman/wicked queen from Mirror Mirror, Nyra from Legend of the Guardians (although I love her design), Queen Narissa from Enchanted, The Queen of Hearts/the Red Queen from Alice in Wonderland, Jadis from The Chronicles of Narnia (not really a queen, I know, but still claims control of Narnia like one until Aslan defeats her), Queen Revilla from the Legend of the Seeker series, Queen Sigrid from Sword Mountain (maybe not pure evil but completely opposed to change and temporarily corrupted by the Book of Heresy)

Not Azra!! Azra is the GOOD queen of Kenthstrom, a coastal kingdom in my fictional world of Cyrin.

AND, later on, you'll also encounter another, princess-type character, who is downright EVIL. Just though I'd think outside the box a little.
