It's Always Necessary To Defend Yourself From Wild Animals, And It's More Humane To Smack The Animal, Instead Of Simply Killing It, And It's Also Okay To Bring A Gun With You, Just In case One Shows Up, But Instead Of Shooting The Animal, Simply Just Shoot In The Air To Scare The Animal Off!

Would you like someone getting into your mind?

You should stand your ground, and give it a sharp smack on its beak. The first time I saw Bryn he came at me, I gave him a right smack on his beak. He was so shocked that someone had stood up to him that he relaxed & swam away. He's never tried it since.

I was only protecting myself against a wild animal, and a sharp tap on the beak is far far better than ringing its neck, which I would never do.
Domestic abuse, be it of fellow humans or animals, is a crime here. Back in the early '80s, I worked as a researcher with the RSPCA, (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) on what was to become the Wildlife & Countryside Act. It also covers domestic animals.
