Oh Roland...
...Well met, after 17 years

I got a shock when in Bath on Thursday. While shooting a busker, who played & sounded like Chris Rea www.youtube.com/watch?v=1EBw_d…, a hand came down on my shoulder. Turning to see who it was, I did a double take, my deer friend, Roland Pargeter. The last time I saw him was in '98, at the Glastonbury Crop Circle Symposium. And here he was
We went for a coffee & a chat. Sitting down, I placed my camera on the table, on its side, & prayed I'd get a chance during our chat, to get a shot. I knew, with him, I'd only get one chance. When it came, I showed him the result, and we had a laugh.

Table shot. With the camera on its side, coffee in right hand, talking to Roland, and with left hand tilting the camera as I raised my cup, I took the shot. Roland is looking directly at me as we talked. And I don't have one of those fancy tilt screens. It's all done by triangulation.
