Shot in Waterstone's a few days ago. A friend of mine works there, and I was having a chat when this gentleman & his wife came in. She put down some shopping as he was browsing the History shelf. She said something to him & walked out. He picked a book & sat down to read. A while later I took this shot, he heard the shutter & looked up, I smiled. "Into your history." I said.His reply caught me "That's all I've got left."

Lol, poor old soul.
I thought this was taken in a library at first. I heard an awful story on the news the other night...an old couple, so cold in their own home this winter, had taken to going to the library all day to keep warm.

I so admire your ability to be out there and shoot people. I am too shy for this and want to do it so badly. What are you shooting with -- is it small and inconspicuous? How do you feel when you shoot someone and they are not aware of it?

Cindy, don't worry about being shy, you have a camera between you & your subject.
Take a look at there's loads of hints & advice.
I use me Nikon D70s, with a 18-70mm lens.
With regards to feeling, I am just an observer, watching
the interactions of a species in its environment
