Something simple again. Another pretty popular monster from Ultraman Jack. Don't really care for his subtitle though. "Giant Fish Monster". I think something like....Hook-Tooth Fish Monster would have probably be a bit better. But I don't think there was a lot of fish monsters at this point in the Ultra franchise. Needless to say there is a ton now...so his subtitle is a bit generic. It's like the subtitle of "underground monster". There are several monsters with that monogram.
Anyhoo...I just wanted to do a scene of Muruchi being in the Japanese oil refinery areas of the city....or chemical storage who knows. And his fight was in the middle of a vicious storm...so it was pretty cool to watch
I got another monster piece almost done but it's not a Japanese creature. But it will still fit this same little card style that I am doing right now.

Yeah. It does remind me of a certain gold dino that murders 3 monsters in his episode in Fireman.

Pretty much. But his face is supposedly based on a Salmon. I like the monster. The roar can beaΒ bit...screechy...but I like the overall look.

I like this guy. His episode is hands down one of the saddest Ultraman episode ever. Ultraman Jack never afraid from showing dark stuffs.

Jack did have have a few more darker eps than Ultraman did. I mean Ultraman did that "sympathy" episode of Jamila but Jack had his girlfriend get killed by Knackle Seijin!

IDK much about Ultraman I think this guy has a cool design with the hooked "beak".

It's a whole world of monsters and crazy stuff. There is a ton of really great monsters and then a lot of bad lol! Still it's good fun and has some really cool stories to tell. Oh and P.S. Love the new logo you were showing off

When I saw the thumbnail, I thought it looked like a twisted image of the Statue of Liberty, but upon reading the title and getting a better look, I can see it's only Jack's best fish boi.

I grew up with that movie so it really doesn't affect me lol. I think of of the coolest is Astromons. Though you can certainly tell it was combing like 3 other movies roars into it lol!

Used to dislike this guy, but he's grown into one of my favorite kaiju over time.Β Β Original isΒ really coolΒ and I hope to see him backΒ sometime, notΒ the biggest fan of Zoa Muruchi though, seemed kind of like a pointless variation/redesign.

I sort of like Zoa Muruchi. Only because the fins and arms do look much more like fins in that. It better accented the already existing features on the monster. Its stuff like what they did with Bemular that I have a bit of a more argument for. That one didn't really seem to have much to tell behind it. I would love it if they brought him back to fight Doragory.
But I doubt we will since his suit was probably used to make Majappa.

I hope to some day see his Ultraman Jack fight, all I've seen is the Ace brawl back when it was on Youtube before it got blocked; I wasn't really prepared for the gore in that one.

I love the really slow tracking shot they do as they are fighting. While it is not the best fight ever....it does have a heck of a lot of innovations to it. I mean the dark skies and rain...the static tracking shots and not cutting the camera ever few seconds.
