I feel my heart beating
like a torrent of water
churning in my breast
and my world seems to totter

on the edge of madness
as desire fills me
Flooding, pulling, starving
and all I can see

are those eyes filled with hunger
and something I cannot name
His hands are on my skin
so bold and yet so tame

He touches me as if I will break
so fragile do I seem
Though my mind whirls
into a restless dream

of my skin claimed
by burning flames of fire
as his face looms closer
and my heart flies higher

His mouth claims mine
in a soft and gentle kiss
Has my heart stopped beating
in this world of bliss?

It feels as if
time stands still
save for this kiss
so calm and surreal

I close my eyes
and get lost in his arms
in a blind surrender
to his deadly charms

Do I dare surrender
my heart as well?
Would my heart in his hands
mean heaven or hell?

I look deep into his eyes
as he ends the kiss
and I think to myself
It's well worth the risk.
