A couple of sketches I asked the amazing to color for me, and once again they brought life to the sketches beautifully! If you didn't know already, turnipBerry is an amazing artist and if you aren't watching them then I highly recommend taking a look at their gallery and giving them a watch. It's well worth it, I tell ya. Thank you so much again for coloring these for me, Turnip! ^.^

So for those of you who don't follow me on my Tumblr, I've been playing with a new Alternate Universe thing where Twilight's a demigod and Rarity's a priestess (I think Turnip managed to capture their roles very well with the colors :3). The AU revolves mostly on my favorite ships (RariTwi, AppleDash, PinkieShy, and a few others) and the general plot goes a bit like this:

Equestria's always been plagued by these shadow-like monsters and for a while they've been nothing but an occasional annoyance, but recently they've begun to get stronger and increase in numbers. They're no longer nuisances but now are legitimate threats, and a huge influx of them have been targetting Ponyville for reasons unknown. The warriors and priests/priestesses of Ponyville have been able to fend them off thus far, but things are slowly starting to deteriorate. The town does their thing and pray to the gods for help, but Rarity, one of the town's most skilled priestess, thinks it's time to actively seek the god's help and summon one to aid them. She's willing to offer herself as a bargaining chip is she needs to.
One night, she performs an Open Summons and is answered almost immediately by a Guardian of Magic. Specifically, she's answered by the student of Celestia and Luna themselves, Twilight Sparkle. After a brief discussion the two seal a pact with a deal: Twilight helps defend Ponyville from the Shadow-monsters and in return, Rarity helps Twilight with her investigation on the goings-on in the mortal realm (which is tied to the sudden influx of shadow monsters).

I've done quite a bit of worldbuilding for this AU thus far, and you can see a lot of it, as well as the roles of many other characters (and the rest of the Mane 6) in this tag HERE!
