this was for a Halloween special for grim fairy tails (mid ohio con exclusive) for zenescope comics with all the characters dressed in wonderland outfits

this was kinda simple...i was asked to do a halloween cover and to have the main girl (in glasses) in the center and vampire chicks all around looking at the reader...in front of a college dorm...this is what i gave them...i never like drawing buildings on a cover...its stills the picture too much and looks too much like an interior page.

this is a standard stock group composition... it starts with the main figure at the top center...and u have all other characters coming out from there. and have them get closer to the reader as the figures get lower to the page.

u can call this a classic xmen shot but with hot chicks...u can easily replace the cheshire chick with wolverine...cause he's always coming at us..and the white rabbit with night crawler...alice with cyclops...and so on..any figure that hunches over makes for a good foreground spot...like spider man.

im sure some of u will notice the white rabbit girl looks like shes getting "fingered" by the hatter...but i assure u she is NOT!! but honestly i wish she was...cause it was an accident. i didnt mean for this to happen. most girls posing for a pinup shot have at least one hand gently (with finger tips) touching a spot on their own body.. thats what i did here... and this may shock some of u cause i never hold back. everybody worries about the ""OMG"" did u SEE what he just drew!! ""can u believe he DID that!!!"" and i dont care about all that drama...cause my motto is...if u dont like it...dont look at it! so anyways...i didnt see it until i scanned it and shrank it down...by then it was too late...and since my editors didnt see it..im going to try and get away with it more often...why?? cause its friggin cool! and all of us have a lil perv inside us..some of us just embrace it more than others.

im always happy to draw this many chicks on a cover cause then i can represent my one true love...ASS!!!! i love ass!! and i can always have at least one girl bent over...oh yeah!

lately ive been trying to put more effort in my facial expressions...believe me its harder than it looks...especially when u are trying to draw attractive ppl...the rule of thumb is .."the more lines u put on the face the uglier they become"" and its mostly true. not sure i captured it here but i tried...and i only had a day to draw this...i did it in about 10 hrs...but i was watching frasier season 9 at the same time.

it was fun making up female versions of the hatter/white rabbit and the cheshire cat halloween style. theres not much to it cause i wanted them to look like an actual person could wear them.

my personaly fav was the hatter,...i dont get to draw the side of the body too often cause everybody always likes full frontal...wonder why? ; ) so the pose was more uncommon than the rest..plus i like that she has a mask of the hatter...which makes NO sense i know...cause if she put the mask ON...she would be a cross dresser...heh...
