there's prob a lot in this picture that ppl might find fault in...or just plain wierd. for example the lips are full and plump, and i think some might say they are too big. another would be the waist, and how small it is. or how thick her thighs are and last..her ribs are too pronounced. but thats the beauty of art, u dont have to follow certain rules when its ur preference. some ppl might abuse this rule and use it as an excuse to not approve upon oneself and just use that as an excuse for everything... "it's my style" or "it my preference". in my case its the thick thighs (which i really like) full ass( which help sell more copies), narrow waist and complete absence in FAT in her ribs. all this is just not possible on the same body.
steve did a beautiful job bringing my thought to life when he colored it..no?
well, nit-pick if u'd like. to each thier own i guess, but i like it over all and have gotten offers for the original and turn them down. i m happy with the results and its not for sale.

waist is alright if we consider that we're looking at it from a side angle. but the lips, man, the LIPS - pumped up with collagen. love the juicy thighs and full breasts. seen a lot of your stuff on the net. like your art.

Love it - and enjoyed the description too. I like that you can play with the dimensions to make it look like you want, even if it is not "realistic" - there is a place for pure realism, but isn't art often best when it is a take on realism? NC Wyeth did similar things, his evil grins were larger than life, but it really worked. I say kudos on this shot, it is lovely. And please keep writing up things like this, it really adds to the piece, ty!

i agree...and personally...to me..its not art unless its ones interpratation of what ones cares to portray...and in comics its our right to do so...hence the big boobs and such...
and if its "too realistic" then i personally feel..that one didnt express himself enough, and take full advantage of that freedom...but thats just me..

I've always wanted to master drawing lips the way you do. Realism gets you started--artistry is when you know how to bend the rules to your liking and still create beautiful art. I see very little worth complaining about here.

It's called airbrush. Like in the magazines, you know? Besides, heroes/heroines are meant to be hot/sexy, powerful, different, mysterious, and human/normal at the same time. That's the fantasy of it all.
