The survey team found it in a cavern deep below an ancient metropolis on planet P2-3756. The city sat on top of a vast mountain range on the Northern Continent. The place appeared to have been deserted for more than 10,000 years. No remains were found. No indication of where the citizens went. As they were exploring, they picked up unusual life signs from deep underground. There was a vast cave network going into the mountain. All branches led to a massive chamber. At the center sat the origination of the life signs, a massive creature. No such organism has ever been cataloged in over 10,000 visited planets. It reacted slowly to the survey team’s presence, moving and pulsing. It seemed to speak to each member individually with voices of their past. Was this what happened to the inhabitants above?
