In an ordinary system on the outskirts of the Known Universe, lies a lifeless planet. Hidden on this planet is the Well of Sorrow. As the legend goes it was built by the lost predecessors of the Hyraxions, who died out millennium ago. It is said that at the bottom of this pit lies a relic. A relic that contains the entire sum knowledge of this long-gone race. The entire knowledge of a race that was traveling the stars long before most of the life in this sector was crawling around in the mud.

Should I be worried that their repository of knowledge is buried in a place called the Well of Sorrow. Not my problem. My employer will pay me enough to retire on my own planet.
