I have been working on this owl piece for a couples of weeks on and off and i'm glad to finally be finished it. recently I have been doing a lot of paintings with very short brushstrokes (and a lot of them) because i feel like they are able to show movement really well and create a lot of texture.
In this piece i wanted to show the Snowy Owl ripping through the air as it flies.

Wow! Nice style and colours! I guess it may be because of the colours or maybe the brush strokes are at fault, but this painting looks really passionate!
