Description
I think this is about as finished as this is going to get. I keep seeing more things I want to fix, but I think I am getting to the point of overworking it. So, it is done now.Gouache and colored Pencil in my sketchbook.
This is for my fiance Chris, for him I will try to draw backgrounds, or at least I did it this time and will attempt to do so again.

I might give you a little advice: add some values on Kifall, he looks at the same distance as the rocks and trees behind, he should look closer. On the spikes tips, between the scales...
Just look at it from further, and look at what you can do for him to look closer. The tigress is okay.

I will have to wait a bit before I feel up to working on this any more. I'd been coloring this for the better part of a 5 days. It may actually be simpler for me to darken the background rocks/stone, and wash out the trees a little more.
My main problem with darkening bits of him more, was that it was making him look darker than I had intended him to be. I ma try adding a little more contrast in some spots when I feel up to it again.

Really amazing Ebby, I would never have the patience to do something with so many details. The fur is real looking, and all those little scales, and even the grass looks great. I think you totally aced that back ground! *tigerhugs*
