Dude this is sweet. Even though it wasn't a ring flash it gives a similar result and the detail is stunning Like her expression too, I am sitting here wondering what on earth she is thinking

actually ... a 16" florescent ring at 6000K attached to a ballast ... all of which was held at arms' length by her while i was shootin'



thus, the rediculously slow shutter speed.

v. interesting technique. 1/6 @ 135mm.. either you have divinely steady hands.. or a tripod..

nevertheless, it makes the photo stand out. i must see if i have a ballast - in my other pocket...
