This picture is my thanks to everyone who became my watcher, friend, and or simply encouraged me by fav'ing, or commenting. *bow* Thank you so much for the support, page views and general awesomeness. *hugs* :]Lots of love <3
About the pic:
In case you're wondering, the picture is of the two sisters from the fairy tale: "Snow White and Rose Red," which one is which is entirely up to you (although I've always thought Snow white was the pale sister, while Rose red was the darker one. But if thats the case then it kinda bumps into Disney's snow white who is the darker tone... ... >.< So yeah.)
I decided not to give them a full background, the reason was simply that I wanted to concentrate on the whole "sister" feel and I felt a background would detract from that. (I feel the same time I add color to it... hence why I've only posted it in black and white)
The inspiration for the work was family and the bond they/we all share with one another. <3 I have 3 older sisters and there is nothing quite like sisterhood. <3

I love it. Snow white is really beautiful! All the little details in hair, dresses it's really well done! However I would have preferred to see the roses start completely at the bottom and not an inch from the bottom. It makes a big black spot that contrasts too much with the refinement of your characters.

Hmmmm *looks at pic and ponders* I see what you mean. I'd never thought of it before but I think you're totally right about that. If I'd cropped off just enough of the bottom so that it had the same amount of white space as the top it'd have a better flow.

Beautiful picture, and nice take on the fairytale! I was considering doing the same story for the grimm-contest - but I really like it the way you've drawn it! The black and white works really well, and the details in the sisters' dresses are amazing

Alright. I'm going to say a few things here.
Season 5 is the best. The ending is beyond what anyone would expect. It's perfect. The reason is that the creator, Eric Kripke, wanted the series to end at season 5. He had everything planned out for that. When the end finally came, the show gained so much popularity that he let the assistants director, Sera Gamble, take over and continue. He stepped down from directing. Sera started season 6.
Warning: season 6 is not the best, especially after watching the season 5 finale. But get through it and watch it, because season 7 is excellent.

It still sticks with a religious theme but it doesn't go overboard. The most religious they get is the god thing and that doesn't last too long. I'm happy I helped. After season 5 it does downhill because of the director change but you should force yourself through the sixth. Season 7 is great. I find it goes back in time a bit. Some of the episodes are reminiscent of seasons 1 and 2, which is a relief.

So it does get better? I read a tad of the tiny synopsis for each ep on netflix and it seemed to get worse? But then that was a 1 sentence synopsis so having someone elses opinion would be awesome! <3 <3 <3

It gets better after season 6. There are some episodes that are great, others... not so much. I'd watch the whole season anyway, but here are some of the best out of the season:
Episodes 1 and 2, because it starts you off on the story. And 'Two and a Half Men' is legitimately creepy.
Episode 4 - Weekend at Bobby's. Because it's quite funny.
Episode 5 - Live Free or Twihard. It makes fun of Twilight. Nuff said.
Episode 10 - Caged Heat. It's a bit of a surprise who is in that episode.
Episode 15 - The French Mistake. Possibly the funniest episode of Supernatural. Ever. Close to Mystery Spot, of course.
Episode 18 - Frontierland. They travel back in time to the Wild West.
Episodes 19-22. Ends the story for season 6, starts the story for Season 7. They're quite necessary.
I don't know which episode the Mother of All comes into the picture, but you have to see it to understand the majority of the season.

Love the stark contrast here. Because you balance the black, grays, and vivid white perfectly, the picture seems to say a lot while remaining simple. It's peaceful and breath-taking.

Snow White from the fairy tale of the same name ('Schneewittchen' in German) and Snow White from 'Snow White and Rose Red' ('SchneeweiΓchen' in German) are not the same person. I don't understand why people always think that.

<3 <3 <3 Thats what me and my sister said![lol minus the great german reference lol] :] But my mum was adamant that it was the other way round and kind of threw us for a loop. O.O O.o And as I'm discovering/rediscovering Fairy tales have a random tendency to overlap in weird ways. O.o Even down to story lines. O.o
