Alrighty, ladies and gentlemen. Finally get too see what I've been working on all this time. The sleeves are all 100% painted and dyed. Took me two weeks to hand-do each side!The tail is made out of yarn, and then dyed.
My Amaterasu cosplay! This is submitted in the cosplay contest at NDK. Wish me luck!

Unfortunately, I will not be attending this year. Our first born is due in August. So maybe when he is older, we can go again.
Thanks! I had a lot of fun designing it. The sleeves took me the longest. Huh, had to hand paint the pattern on each side.

The kimono took one day, the hand dying/painting on the sleeves took 2 weeks. The shield was 1 week and the wig and ears 1 evening. Not too bad, but well worth it!
