Description
Here is my first dragon sketch in my little booklet. Just like the rest of the pictures named sketches, its drawn on 3.5"x5" paper. Graphite (mech. pencil), 50 lb. paper, tortillian, and kneaded eraser, the usual supplies.Still new at dragons. I still prefer felines and canines.

Well, considering how tiny this picture was, I think I got a pretty good amount of detail in there I think. I am rather sure it was too small to do scales effectively.

yeah i've been around though i've been lazy and i'm starting to fraw again after 3 months of nothingness i've gotten rusty.

Awesome dragon, but I do have a suggestion. The stomach area looks a bit too skinny, but I'm not sure if you meant it to be that way, but if you didn't I would suggest making that area have a bit more flesh so that your dragon doesn't look like it hasn't eaten anything for a while. But other than that, this is truly an awesome dragon.

I'm still rather new to dragons so I kinda copy my feline and canine aspects into the dragon. So the result is often weird and distorted.

It's all good. Who said all dragons are reptilian? It's good to have different aspects to dragons, otherwise they wouldn't be so cool.

What a unique style you have! This dragon looks so fuzzy I might want to hug him. (Grin) His wings are wonderful--your shading is dramatic and arresting.

Ok...not furry--it's that wonderful unique style of yours--I've never seen anyone draw the way you do. This dragon is powerful, yet somehow friendly. I hope that is what you meant to put across...
