And wow, I haven't done fanart for yearrrrsss. I feel a little dirty submitting to this category.

But oh, oh, oh, oh mello. Shi-painter, 2.5 hours????!? Remind me never to start something at 7:30 and expect to get it done before 10. Oekaki's take me forever. And because I haven't developed that AMAZING skill of just perfectly inking with a few strokes, I am subjected to smashing many lines together in the same spot in the hopes that I will make a decent outline. SOMEDAY, MARK MY WORDS.

You know, I really used to hate mello. For a while, I thought that the scanlations had stopped back in July because the site I went to for downloads stopped updating. Then suddenly, a few days ago, I find out that there's like 20 chapters that were released in the meantime. HOLY FUCUCKFFUFUF@@@!!! I am now caught up. But honestly, I really hated mellow. Most of all, I hated the fact that he was always eating chocolate, and I hate chocolate. And I kept getting visions of him where he would get fat and his teeth would rot out, and it bothered me. I also hated his tacky mafia gang. Even when he's confronted by Dad's Light with the deathnote, I was just like: "KILL HIM ALREADY THAT STUPID IDIOT!!!"

But then... but thennn!!! He got the scar. And he wasn't surrounded by goofy henchmen anymore. But oh, that scar. And the fuzzy hood. My heart was won. Now, mind you, I still don't like him as much as L (le sigh...) or Light, but he's pretty high. Especially considering that Near now has started to bug the shit out of me.
