Description
Tried to do something I've never done before! This is my first time making digital art since I'm more of a traditional artist. I was really curious to see if I could make coloring instead on computer. So I chose to make a simple drawing of Piplup and then I scanned it onto the computer and colored it on Photoshop. Took me about 2 hours to get it the way I wanted. Like I said, this is my first time so I apologize if there are any spots I could have made better

No problem and yeah im not good at bacgrounds either x3 But you should try to do a scenary ill (do it to)of something! It will get your skills at backgrounds better

Nice for a first digital attempt. Some things you can improve on IMHO...
- fixing up tiny gaps between the black outline and the colour with a pixel-width pencil tool, particularly noticeable around piplup's neck
- the fuzzy grey bits, e.g., on the bottom of the left foot... you need to clean them up with an erasing tool
- it's a matter of taste and judgement but you might like to blur (only slightly) the outlines of the shadows and highlights
I'm no way as good an artist as you BTW... Just trying to help you out.
