I would literally rather die slowly and in excruciating pain, yet on my own terms, than ever trust a doctor again. Not only did their pills repeatedly Β almost kill me, Β but they also made me repeatedly almost kill myself, just to escape the pills and headgames and such. Of course this led to more treatment, and an even stronger urge to end my misery. A pepetual cycle that took me two decades to break. Its enough to make me want to kill my own mother for using the shrinks as both treatment and punishment every chance she could (literally more than once per week at times).
