This girl is a revamped version of another oc I had a long time ago. His name was Kaito and he was my favorite oc for years, but eventually he lost his shine and basically died. I don't know why that happened, but I haven't been able to restart that fire he had.

It was just his time to die, I guess. It's sad, but it happens.

Anyways, I didn't want to let him die completely, so..... I gave this girl his quirk and I'm hoping to immortalize him through her.

Hinoka has the quirk: Overheat. Basically, her body can glow like a glowstick and emit enough heat to turn metal (or basically anything) into molten lava.

This quirk is basically two quirks, but the heat one is the most prominent. She can glow without using her heat quirk, and emit heat without using her glow quirk.

The glow quirk by itself is completely harmless. If she's in a dark place, she can be her own flashlight. It doesn't matter if these quirks are used together or not. Glow doesn't make the overheat quirk stronger or affect it in any way. It's just fun for her to use them simultaneously because it's flashier that way.

She isn't like Todoroki. She can't control fire or put out the fires she causes. She can't control where her body heat goes, and she can't launch long-ranged attacks. She's extremely skilled in close-quarters combat, and has mastered heating up specific limbs such as her fingers or hands.

Basically, if any part of her has blood supply, it can emit heat or light. That's why her hair isn't glowing that much.

Another interesting thing: Her normal, natural resting core temperature is always around 115 degrees Farenheit. If she has a fever or her heart beat is high, it'll be around 130 degrees. Without using her quirk.
