hey just saying, i judge books by their covers and images (i do read the first few pages) but from seeing that, i really want to read you book from that. I love the image, especially the large wings and how it goes together

Damn! I really love your idea with combining huge bugs with vehicles and still make it look rather natural, like it's really part of each other. Especially thinking of how you did it with the enormous snail. =]

Well, to be honest, it's Kevin's idea, the book author, I made this illustration for. But he says he was somewhat inspired by my snail painting as well, so I think we have some preferences in common.
