Thanks! I did some paintings of 8-bit villains a couple years ago. I wanted to do some digital versions that I could put on different things if I wanted. I did a few and got a good response so I decided to just do ALL of the baddies! I love the simple character designs and colors of the NES sprites and wanted to do put my spin on them.

No problem! And y'know, me too. The simpler designs had to pop more, and as time has gone on it seems like full hd renders have completely replaced even promotional artwork. I've revisited that some myself lately, and am very happy to see others are keeping that spirit alive. Your style captures the whimsy of the original Zelda perfectly.
