Spider-Man: "Trixie?!...What happened to you?"

Trixie: "Help me, Peter.... They gave me an Anti-Aging Drug dozens of times... made me over and over..."

*Spider-Man's spider sense starts tingling, warning of imminent danger behind him, even though Trixie was in front of him*

Spider-Man's thoughts: 'Spider sense is going nuts!'

*Spider-Man turns around to see another Trixie, her face cloaked in red crimson mist, charging a magic blast and he instinctively jumps out of the way before she could hit him as the other Trixie he just saw disappears having been nothing more than an illusion.*

Spider-Man: "You're lying! The real Trixie...she would have never let them-!"

Mysterio 2099: "Never let them do what, turn Trixie into THIS?! You destroyed me, Parker! After what you did, I didn't care what happened to me."

Spider-Man: "I don't even know what you're talking about! Either I haven't done what you claim I did yet or you're just making this up to mess with my head."

Mysterio 2099: "And you get to find out which is which. Isn't this fun?"

Spider-Man: "Not remotely."

Mysterio 2099: "Ahhhh. Where's that intolerable sense of humor of yours Trixie missed so much?"

Spider-Man: "Dying tends to get you serious in a hurry."

Mysterio 2099: "Then you're about to get deadly serious."

Spider-Man encounters an obstacle in his path back to the time gateway in 2099, this obstacle unexpectedly happens to be Trixie who has taken on the mantle of Mysterio and wields the Alicorn Amulet. Though she is not the real Trixie, but rather a clone that was created and remade dozens of time over the years.

Trixie's Mysterio 2099 outfit is based on Ultimate Mysterio's look with a flowing mist cape as a hint of the classic look with the color all red as a sign of the Alicorn Amulet's influence.
