i can't wait to go back in a few weeks - during the spring run-off. which is running late this year. we've had a cold spring and there's still alot of snow in the high country.
this shot was taken over labor day week-end last year - and the water was low.

from the air (plane) it looks like the surface of the moon !
but there are some pretty sweeeet areas and very few people !
except maybe for the teton/yellowstone area which can get pretty crowded during summer - the winters are brutal though - high winds adds to a bone chilling wind factor !
